John MaglioloBeverage Director / Area Director of Operations
After successful beginnings in bartending and bar management while in college, John’s journey with TBM started in 2009 as a server and bartender at the Covington, LA location of Zea Rotisserie & Bar. With great Mentorship and guidance, what started as job soon became a career. He joined our management ranks in January 2012, and worked in various management roles across 6 different Zea locations. In February 2015 he was promoted to General Manager and in May 2023 to Beverage Director and Area Director of Operations.
John has always enjoyed a passion for everything bar related and holds WSET Level II Award in Wine & Spirits. As Beverage Director & Area Director of Operations, he works hand in hand with our operators and suppliers to innovate and improve all of our bar/beverage department.
In his career with TBM, John has received awards for Service Manager of the Year, 2019 & 2021 Leonard Louviere Award for Guest Experience, and 2020 and 2022 General Manager of the Year.
Born and raised in Louisiana, John attended Fordham University and Louisiana State University with a focus on Communication Studies. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, cooking for loved ones, exploring the vibrant restaurant and bar scene in New Orleans, and staying physically active to balance previously mentioned pursuits with food and drink.
