Zea’s Pork of July extends through August

 Benefiting New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI)

Special pork-themed menu items benefit culinary & hospitality education organization

New Orleans, LA (July 1, 2019)Zea Rotisserie & Bar is excited to offer special menu items to benefit the New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI), which provides access to and opportunity for careers in the culinary and hospitality industry. For the fifth year in a row, all Zea locations in the Greater New Orleans area will offer pork-themed dishes, and this year the proceeds will benefit the culinary institute throughout July and August.

 

Dishes include:

 

  • Korean BBQ Pork Tacos: Hickory smoked pulled pork in a spicy Korean BBQ sauce. House made kimchi slaw served in a lettuce leaf and wrapped in a flour tortilla. Two per serving.
  • Pork Quesadilla: Smoked pulled pork, shredded cheddar cheese, and house-made chipotle aioli, layered between two flour tortillas and served with house-made avocado salsa.
  • Pork Rostizado: Sliced rotisserie pork with a pineapple jalapeño glaze over Latin rice. Served with a side of ancho chipotle black beans topped with crema and crumbled feta.

To date, Zea locations have raised more than $51,000 alongside other Taste Buds Management restaurants for local and regional nonprofits. Guests can show their support of NOCHI in three ways. During their visit, diners can deposit cash into a special piggy bank and fill out a registration slip for a chance to win a $250 gift card. Diners without cash can also add a donation to their check or order one of the limited-time dishes.
