Zea’s Pork of July extends through August to Raise Money for Healing House
Pork-themed menu items and Absolut cocktail will benefit organization for grieving children
Lafayette, LA (July 1, 2019) – This July and August, Zea Rotisserie & Bar is supporting local charity Healing House through its signature Pork of July event. For the fifth year in a row, a portion of proceeds from limited-time pork dishes and Absolut-based cocktail will be donated to the nonprofit, which provides support and education to grieving children, their caregivers and the Acadiana community.
Dishes include:
- Korean BBQ Pork Tacos: Hickory smoked pulled pork in a spicy Korean BBQ sauce. House made kimchi slaw served in a lettuce leaf and wrapped in a flour tortilla. Two per serving.
- Pork Quesadilla: Smoked pulled pork, shredded cheddar cheese, and house-made chipotle aioli, layered between two flour tortillas and served with house-made avocado salsa.
- Pork Rostizado: Sliced rotisserie pork with a pineapple jalapeño glaze over Latin rice. Served with a side of ancho chipotle black beans topped with crema and crumbled feta.
- Absolut Paradise: Absolut Mango Vodka and Blue Curacao blended with tropical fruit juices and a touch of coconut.
To date, Zea Lafayette has raised more than $11,000 for Healing House. Zea guests have three options to support Healing House. During their visit, diners can drop any amount of change into a special Absolut bottle and fill out a registration slip for a chance to win a $250 gift card. They may also add a donation to their check or order one of the limited-time dishes and cocktail, available at Zea Lafayette from July 1 – August 31.
