Latin-Inspired Eatery Offering Kids’ Activities, Special Menus and a Visit from Papa Noel to Celebrate the Season
WHO: Mizado Cocina
WHAT: Breakfast with Santa will be offered at the Latin-inspired eatery Mizado Cocina to kick off the holidays. Kids will enjoy a two course meal, with the choice of holiday pancakes – to decorate with candy, sprinkles and other toppings – or a serving of eggs, bacon and grits. A heaping helping of ice cream will round out their breakfast treat. After dining, kids will have the opportunity to craft their own letter to Santa while visiting with him. For families looking to get their Santa Selfies in, Papa Noel will also be available for photo opportunities (#BreakfastWithSanta).
A unique three-course menu will be offered for adults. Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, hot chocolate and fresh-squeezed orange juice will also be available for purchase. The special menu will include:
- 1st Course: Queso Fundido (cotija, quesillo and machegho cheeses with crispy tortilla strips) OR Salsa Sampler
- 2nd Course: Tamale Ranchero (Masa cake, housemade Duroc chorizo black beans, mozzarella, salsa roja, fried eggs, cilantro, crispy tortilla strips) OR Tres Leches Pan Perdido (Latin inspired “French toast,” plantains, pineapple, pistachios, agave cream) OR Carnitas de Picadillo (Braised Duroc all natural pork shoulder, pork belly, potato hash, cilantro, poached eggs, machego cheese, avocado mousse)
- 3rd Course: Churros (crisp fried pastry, cinnamon sugar, chocolate dipping sauce) OR Crema De Caramelo (custard, caramel sauce, whipped cream)
