All Dads who dine at Semolina on Father’s Day get a $10 gift card
New Orleans, LA (June 5, 2016) — Whether he’s a lifelong local or a NOLA tourist this Father’s Day, everyone knows that Dad’s the Man – and what better way to prove it than with a $10 gift card from Semolina? On Sunday, June 18, all dads who dine at Semolina will receive a free $10 gift card to use on a future visit. The freebies don’t stop there: All dads who purchase any of Semolina’s draft beers between May 26-June 18 take home a collectible Father’s Day pint glass.
“Each June, we look forwarding to rewarding all Dads out there with our custom pint glasses,” said Nancy Jeansonne, director of marketing for Semolina. “Father’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate their importance with this thoughtful – and useful! – little gift.”
While Dad pours a cold one during his Semolina feast, he is encouraged to select a complementary dish fit for a king. He may opt to start his special day with Serrano Honey Meatballs (a signature homemade dish drenched in a BBQ sauce that’s sweet, tart and a little spicy), or Semolina’s Original Macaroni & Cheese cake (served in a standing wedge and draped with rich, creamy cheese sauce). He can then graduate to Chicken Enchilada Pasta with tender seasoned chicken sautéed with onions, bell peppers and black beans in a tortilla cheese sauce – all tossed with Penne pasta topped with cheddar cheese, jalapeños, sour cream and crunchy tortilla strips. But, we’ll let Dad be the judge; Semolina’s full menu can be viewed here.

Semolina has received national recognition from the publication Restaurants and Institutions and was named “Hot Concept” by Nation’s Restaurant News. The Louisiana Restaurant Association named the Taste Buds – Restaurateurs of the Year in 1994. The Buds provide a great working environment, as well; Taste Buds Management was named among “Best Places to Work” in 2016 by New Orleans City Business as well as “Top Workplaces” by The Times-Picayune in 2017.
