All dads get a free four-pack of Covington Brewhouse seasonal beer on Sunday, June 18
New Orleans, LA (June 5, 2017) — The year’s nearly halfway done, and Dad deserves a treat for everything he has helped with in 2017. To motivate him to navigate his honey-do list for the rest of the year, treat dad to Zea this Father’s Day: There’s a free four-pack of Covington Brewhouse seasonal beer in it for him, just in case roasted corn grits and rotisserie eats weren’t enough.
“This year, we’re excited to switch up the Father’s Day ‘freebie’ in partnering with locally-grown Covington Brewhouse,” said Nancy Jeansonne, director of marketing for Zea Rotisserie & Bar. “We’ve always maintained how well an ice cold brew pairs with some of our signature dishes, and these varieties offer something for everyone, from the IPA fan to the wheat beer aficionados.”
The pack of signature beer includes one of each style of handcrafted brews, so Dad can match his beer to his seasonal mood no matter the month:
- Electric Porter Winter Seasonal: Dark and complex brew featuring five different malts, two hops and coffee locally roasted by Campbell’s Coffee
- Fest Bier Fall Seasonal: Brewed in the tradition of the Germen Maerzen style; classic autumn brew featuring a rich, amber color with a blend of malts and earthy hops that produces a smooth, deep toasty flavor
- Spring Pale Ale Spring Seasonal: American Pale Ale brewed with 3 different malts and 4 different hops, packed with a floral, citrus hoppiness with a mild malt balance (Typically available from mid-February to mid-May)
- Rock & Roll Summer Farmhouse Ale: Saison brewed during the winter months and served in the summer; lower ABV than the modern version and closer to the original style for easy drinking to beat the summer heat
Free hops are available to all dads who dine in at any Zea on Sunday, June 18 with a minimum purchase of two entrées, while supplies last. Participating locations include the Greater New Orleans Area, Slidell, Covington, Baton Rouge and Lafayette.
