NEW ORLEANS, LA (May 23, 2023) – Zea Rotisserie & Bar is pleased to announce that the company is on schedule to open a new Baton Rouge location later this summer at 7415 Corporate Blvd. Suite 920. The current Zea, which opened in 2008 at 2380 Towne Center Blvd. Suite C, will remain fully operational and open daily from 11am until 9pm while the new Zea is under construction. Staffing plans for the new location are in place with scheduled job fairs.
Taste Buds Management CEO Paul Hutson said the Towne Center Blvd. location will be serving guests until the grand opening on Corporate Blvd. “We’re planning a smooth transition, so our guests won’t be without their Thai ribs and roasted corn grits for more than just a couple of days.”
The new Zea Rotisserie & Bar will feature a full refresh of the brand. Updates include a new building design, modernized bar and dining area, contemporary fixtures and a covered patio and seating area. Guests will also be able to watch rotisserie chicken being prepared through a glass window. The restaurant will be approximately 7,000 square feet and have seating for more than 200 guests.
To prepare for the grand opening, Zea is currently hiring additional employees,
including servers, server assistants, bartenders, line cooks and an assistant manager.
Jeffrey Thibodeaux, Area Director and General Manager of Baton Rouge says, “We have an incredible training and leadership program in place at Zea that allows for career growth within the company. There are several employees that have been with us since opening in 2008 and we need more great people to join the Zea team.”
Job fairs will be held at the Towne Center Blvd location on Wednesday, July 12 from 10am through 8pm, as well as Thursday, July 20 from 10am until 8pm. Zea hourly employees enjoy a benefits package that includes:
