Share a meal at Semolina this Mother’s Day
New Orleans, LA (April 24, 2017) – Pasta fans, it’s time to sport your Sunday best and celebrate Mom: Semolina is offering all Moms a free $10 gift card to be used on a future visit when they dine at the pasta eatery this Mother’s Day.
To celebrate the occasion, Semolina – located in Clearview Mall on Veterans Boulevard in Metairie – will open at 10:30 AM on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 14). If she is feeling creative, Mom can ring in her special day by inventing her own pasta creation in the signature Pasta Lab. Plenty of Italian-inspired dishes (with local twists) grace Semolina’s menu as well; any member of the family may go for Muffaletta Pasta, Semolina’s version of the classic New Orleans sandwich with genoa salami, mortadella ham, olive salad, fontina and provolone cheeses over penne pasta and garnished with sesame seeds. If Mom is feeling traditional, she will feel right at home with classics such as Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Alfredo or the quintessential, never-disappointing Meatballs and angel hair Pasta.
For the perfect beverage pairing, several wine options as well as a variety of cocktails are always available. Adult children can celebrate Mom together with Semolina’s Signature Bellini, its icy interpretation of the classic Italian cocktail made with Svedka Vodka and Peach Schnapps.
Once she’s enjoyed a Semolina Sunday meal, Mom can take a family photo to remember the occasion. Semolina will offer free family photos during the Mother’s Day celebration: A Semolina server will be available to take pictures and place them in a paper frame for families to take home.
