Local Favorite Offers Kids’ Activities, Special Menus and a Visit from Santa to Celebrate the Season
WHO: Zea
WHAT: Breakfast with Santa will be offered at the polished casual Zea to kick off the holidays. Kids will enjoy a two course meal, with the choice of holiday pancakes – to decorate with candy, sprinkles and other toppings – or a serving of eggs, bacon and grits. A heaping helping of ice cream will round out their breakfast treat. After dining, kids will have the opportunity to craft their own letter to Santa while visiting with him. For families looking to get their Santa Selfies in, he will also be available for photo opportunities (#BreakfastWithSanta).
A unique three-course menu will be offered for adults. Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, hot chocolate and fresh-squeezed orange juice will also be available for purchase. The special menu will include:
- 1st Course: Thai Ribs (St. Louis style with a sweet & spicy soy glace) OR Asian Almond Shrimp (honey ginger chili glaze)
- 2nd Course: Shrimp & Grits (roasted corn grits with shrimp, Andouille and an etouffee sauce) OR Asian Tuna Salad (fresh rare sashimi tuna with crispy noodles, sesame seeds, almonds and peanut vinaigrette) OR Charles Eggs Benedict (slow cooked tender veal roast on top of a fried green tomato and seared grit cake with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce)
- 3rd Course: Sweet Potato Bread Pudding (French bread, pecans and cinnamon, rum praline sauce)
