Local Pasta Eatery Offers Kids’ Activities, Special Menus and a Visit from Santa
WHO: Semolina
WHAT: Breakfast with Santa will be offered at the local pasta eatery Semolina to kick off the holidays. Kids will enjoy a two course meal, with the choice of holiday pancakes – to decorate with candy, sprinkles and other toppings – or a serving of eggs, bacon and grits. A heaping helping of ice cream will round out their breakfast treat. After dining, kids will have the opportunity to craft their own letter to Santa while visiting with him. For families looking to get their Santa Selfies in, he will also be available for photo opportunities (#BreakfastWithSanta).
A unique three-course menu will be offered for adults. Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, hot chocolate and fresh-squeezed orange juice will also be available for purchase. The special menu will include:
- 1st Course: Serrano Honey BBQ Meatballs (sweet, tart and spicy BBQ sauce) OR Artichoke and Spinach Dip Quattro Formaggio (creamy blend of spinach, artichokes and four cheeses baked and served with crisp garlic crostinis)
- 2nd Course: Shrimp Roban (sautéed in a rich, spicy cream sauce, tossed with shell pasta) OR Parmesan Chicken Salad (breadcrumb-crusted chicken breasts, tomatoes and provolone atop the Semolina Caesar) OR Artichoke Cake Benedict (seared artichoke cakes, poached egg, lemon caper butter sauce, creamy sundried tomato polenta)
- 3rd Course: Bread Pudding (French bread and custard with homemade rum praline sauce)
