Zea Asian Sesame Oysters

Ingredients

  • To Make the Oyster breading
  • 2 Cups Self Rising Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 Cup Yellow Corn Meal
  • 1 Cup Self Rising White Corn Meal
  • To Plate the Dish
  • 6 Fried Oysters
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Cabbage
  • 2 1/2 Oz. Zea Thai Rib Sauce (available at the restaurant or your neighborhood Rouses) (If unavailable sub for stir fry sauce and sweet chili glaze mix from an Asian market)
  • 1 Teaspoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon Chopped Green Onions
  • 1 Teaspoon Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 Teaspoon Basil Ribbons

Instructions

  • To Cook the Oysters
  • Place oysters in oyster breading.
  • Bread thoroughly.
  • Place the oysters in 350 degree peanut oil and allow to fry for 3 minutes.
  • To Plate Up the Dish
  • Place cabbage in a line in the center of the plate.
  • Place the oysters on the cabbage.
  • Drizzle the Zea Thai Rib sauce across all of the oysters.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds over oysters.
  • Sprinkle herbs all over.
