Seafood Season Returns to Zea Rotisserie & Bar this Spring

Zea offers shrimp, crawfish, catfish and Gulf fish dishes with specialized wine pairings

 

New Orleans, LA (March 6, 2019) – Just in time for Lent and the return of crawfish, Zea Rotisserie & Bar announced the return of one of its most popular signature menus: Seafood Season. Beginning March 6, Zea will serve its limited-time seafood offerings at its locations in New Orleans, Harahan, Metairie, Harvey, Kenner, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Covington and Slidell.

 

Zea is offering a combination of classic seafood dishes and new creations, making it even easier for diners to stay on track during Lent. First introduced last year, Zea’s Crawfish Maque Choux became an instant hit and will appear on the menu again, along with Shrimp Ceviche, Bronzed Catfish Pecan and Gulf Fish Campeche.

 

Zea’s Seafood Menu includes the following:

 

  • Shrimp Ceviche, $9.95: Plump shrimp in a lime-citrus habanero and chili marinade with a confetti of chopped red onion, carrots, serrano chilis, cucumber and green onions. Garnished with diced avocado, cilantro and tortilla chips.

Pair with Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling.

  • Crawfish Maque Choux, $9.50: Fresh Louisiana crawfish tails sautéed in a classic maque choux and served over a griddled grit cake with a roasted red pepper rouille.

Pair with Kendall Jackson Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay.

  • Bronzed Catfish Pecan, $17.95: Fresh Des Allemandes catfish fillet, pepper crusted and topped with roasted pecan butter. Served over butternut squash hash with crispy baby spinach.

Pair with Mumm Napa Sparkling.

  • Gulf Fish Campeche, $19.95: Grilled fillet of fresh Gulf fish, served over a sauté of brown rice studded with chilis and vegetables. Laced with an avocado salsa and crispy tortilla chips.

Pair with Benziger Sauvignon Blanc.
