Dive into Seafood Season at Zea Rotisserie & Grill

Limited time menu introduces inspired new seafood dishes

New Orleans, LA (February 12, 2013) – There’s no need to wait for warm weather to dive into delicious seafood dishes at Zea Rotisserie & Grill. Starting Wednesday, February 13 for a limited time, the restaurant is featuring its 2013 seafood menu complete with fresh Gulf seafood of oysters, shrimp and tuna for lunch and dinner daily.

To celebrate seafood season, Zea Rotisserie & Grill is adding new and unexpected flavors to its menu including crispy friend Alligator Tacos featuring deliciously crispy fried alligator tossed in a spicy red pepper salsa and topped with sweet vinegar slaw, cilantro onion relish and an avocado Serrano crema.

Also available on the 2013 seafood menu is the Taste Buds inspired version of the New Orleans favorite BBQ Shrimp with a buttery rosemary sauce served with mashed sweet potatoes. Other tantalizing seafood dishes offered include Mediterranean Lettuce Wrap with chilled Louisiana Gulf shrimp, feta cheese, calamata olives and pesto hummus spread, and Country Fried Oysters—an homage to the Southern classic country fried steak—featuring crispy fried Louisiana oysters on a sweet corn biscuit topped with a creamy artichoke gravy. Reoccurring fan favorites like Asian Sesame Oysters laced with a soy ginger sauce and Asian chili glaze and a Tuna Sashimi Stack with avocado, micro greens and a cucumber wasabi aioli will be featured as well. These bold, flavorful dishes feature creative twists on local favorites as well as tastes of the Mediterranean and Asia.

“Our annual seafood menu showcases fresh, vibrant, craveable flavors,” said Chef/Owner Greg Reggio. “This year we took it to the next level by pairing tasty local and international flavors with the fresh Gulf Seafood we all love.”

In addition to the limited time menu, guests can continue to enjoy seafood entrees available on the regular Zea menu, like Seared Tuna Steak topped with orange basil butter and a ginger soy marinade; Southern Fried Thin Catfish served with hush puppies; and Asian Tuna Salad with rare sashimi tuna, crispy noodles, sesame seeds and almonds in a peanut vinaigrette. Trout lovers will especially delight at the myriad of dishes available, including a seared Pesto Crusted Trout; Bronzed or Grilled Rainbow Trout; and Trout Lafitte hardwood grilled with shrimp tossed in a spicy cream sauce.

The 2013 seafood menu features prices starting at just $5.95 and will be available for a limited time starting Wednesday, February 13 at participating Zea Rotisserie & Grill locations.
